Today was a busy one for Jon and I. Well maybe just me... I ended up waking up around 8:30 this morning thinking of all the things that I needed to get done today since I did not get anything finished yesterday. I did plant my seeds for the vegetable garden this morning and cleaned up a little bit. I was going to make French Toast this morning for breakfast but I ended up using the bread since it was stale for some croutons instead. I love how they look in a Mason Jar.
I ended up trying to figure out how to make my own tabletop studio for photographing my food that I make. I think that Studio lighting is the hardest thing. I have always depended on natural light to take my photographs and now I feel like I am jumping into a whole new area of photography. The photo above is the studio that I made. Not sure how to use it yet but at least I got a great, clean backdrop with the Mason Jar with Croutons in it. I will need some practice at it so that I understand what I am doing with the lights etc.
After Jon was finished with his side job we took the boys to a local Forest Preserve near our house. This was the first time that I had been there and it was pretty nice. We both ended up wearing our hunting boots to make sure that if it was muddy or wet that we would not get our feet soaking again. The boys had fun. Jon was looking for deer antlers while I was busy snapping photos on our hike. It was a great Sunday! Hope everyone had a great weekend!
