Today was a long day. I guess Shooter and Hank had a rough weekend at my mom's house. There were thunderstorms all weekend long. I felt bad for them and my mom. They do not do well in storms. there is a lot of panting, shaking, sweaty paws. and drooling. Shooter and Hank were finally able to relax today since there were no storms. Shooter enjoyed just laying on the patio. Jon and I missed them so much. It was the first time that we have been away from them for three days!
Today I found more Japanese Beetles on my bushes. They are not as bad as last year but they are still bad and eating my bushes. These bugs really creep me out. yesterday while taking photos with the bride I had one fly into my ear. It was the weirdest thing.
We have cherry tomatoes growing. I hope these actually turn red unlike the ones that we had last year that never turned red.
We have an ear of corn! We actually have 3 or 4 ears growing. I cannot wait to actually try it!
This photo is a little fuzzy but you can see that we have three green peppers growing on this plant. We have a ton growing right now. They are producing earlier than last year but I cannot wait.
Since we have not gone to the store to get anything we made grill cheese and french fries. It was plain and simple but yummy. Jon and I have been watching movies all day long. Now we are just relaxing ready to go to bed shortly.
