Baked Chili-Cheese Dogs
  • 8 hot dog buns
  • Light mayonnaise
  • Spicy brown mustard
  • 8 all-beef franks in natural casings
  • 1 (15-ounce) can chili with beans
  • ½ small onion, diced
  • Colby Jack cheese

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spread hot dog buns with mayonnaise and mustard to taste. Top with hot dogs, and fit snugly into a 9- by 13-inch pan.

Divide chili among hot dogs; sprinkle with onion, and top with cheese. Cover pan with aluminum foil, and bake 45 minutes or until cheese is melted and buns are lightly crispy. Makes 8 servings.
