Easter Week

It was a great week. Jon and I worked all week on getting our house ready for Easter Dinner since we were hosting. It was exhausting but well worth it. I had told Jon that we needed to have more parties at our house since we deep clean the whole house. It gets at least me in gear. Earlier in the week I worked again in the yard to get everything ready for Easter. Our neighbor had a landscaping company at her house the previous week so I went and ask them for an estimate. It was a pretty fair estimate. So Jon and I decided to go for it. We thought that since I was not able to get in the yard last year that the weeds had taken over and it was too hard for me to keep up with it. So now that everything is in place that I just need to do maintenance on it. I have a big weight lifted off of my shoulders now. If it was not so cold out at night I think I would be out in the yard just staring at how good everything looks. I also bought a new sprinkler to use this year as well. I keep asking Jon if I can start watering the yard but he told me to wait to until it got warmer. I guess I will wait. Easter went off without a hitch. Jon and I started the Ham’s early on Sunday just so that we had more time to cook it if we needed to. We hardly had any leftovers well I take that back we cooked 2 hams and we have a ton of leftovers but I planned all of my cooking this week around the left over ham. We will be hammed out but that is ok. Hope everyone had a great Easter with their families. I know Jon and I did!
Till Next week…
