Beer Bottle Tiki Torches

I am still a week or two behind posts but I am getting back on track. I have now way too many photos to adjust and post. I took a little break to start working on my 31 hot rod and get that going. Hopefully with fingers crossed we can get it out on the road this fall but hopes are high and we shall see if we can make that goal. I think that is my goal but I know that Jon has a ton of work to do with his business that I can only hope. We had made some beer bottle tiki torches to hang on the fence post around our backyard. They turned out so well that Jon and I are thinking of trying to sell them. I got to get my shop together again and see if we could sell them or if anyone would even want them. More to come on this in the next couple of weeks. About two weeks ago we had received a letter from the home owners association stating that our garage was discolored. I knew that it was rusting and something had to be done. One week on Jon's day off he ended up cleaning up the garage door with a power washer (which did not work) and then ended up using a wire brush the size of a tooth brush to get all the rust off. I think in the years to come we will have to do this each year to keep up the appearance of our home. Oh well. Well off to start my shop again and get some things up there to sell. Wish us luck cause we will need it. Till next week or next post...
